New York -- There's not a lot more to say about a demon car from the depths of hell designed to put fear in the hearts of the meek other than: awesome.

Rock group Slayer's customized vehicle was on display at the New York Auto Show on Thursday, and it looked like a sliver of Hades had been planted in the middle of all the otherwise conservative vehicles.

Tricked out by California-based MV Designz, the car is a modified Scion tC, specially customized for the band's dark tastes.

Aside from the hellish imagery emblazoned on its sides, the interior of the vehicle includes a skull gearshift, skeleton icons embedded on the inside of its suicide doors and an emergency brake fashioned to look like a dagger.

If you've seen the Ghost Rider motorcycle transformation scene, then you have a good idea of the kind of impression this beast makes up close.

At least one member of Slayer will visit the auto show later this week, a person nervously attending to the demonic car on the show floor said.
