Thanks to some young Americans, beer pong is now one step closer to becoming an Olympic sport.

Beer pong has evolved many different variations since its inception but one thing has always remained the same -- dirty water.

One Kickstarter campaign is aiming to change that with cup attachments that stop dirt and hair from ever polluting your pristine light beer.

They call it the "Slip Cup," and it's basically just a smaller cup that fits inside your drinking cup -- with added brilliance.

It has two tabs that can catch ping pong balls without letting them out and also has a center-weighted design so your cup won't get knocked over when a friend lasers a ball into it. Plus, it can fit over almost any 16oz plastic cup you can throw at it.

Apparently there are a lot of beer pong players out there that have had enough with hairy beer and dirty cups as the page is only $2,000 away from reaching it's $70,000 goal at the time of this writing.

You've done America proud Slip Cup, you've done her proud.
