Chameleons are known for being masters of camouflage (occasionally very cute ones), but did you know they're also fierce hunters?

To capture prey, they can project their tongue to nearly twice their body length in a mere 0.07 seconds.

The folks over at Earth Unplugged captured a panther chameleon's super-fast tongue attack in slow motion, and the result is fascinating. Captured at 1,500 frames per second, the video shows the chameleon attacking an insect from several angles, with amazing speed and accuracy.
