International Pillow Fight Day in slow-motion is beautifully epic

Everything looks a little more epic when slowed down to 240 frames per second.

Yawning? Looks like an awesome roar. Jumping over a puddle? Might as well be leaping over an ocean. Standing still? You're a freakin' statue, my friend.

We attended New York City's International Pillow Fight in Washington Square Park and captured the event's best moments -- from full-on face hits to feathery pillow explosions -- in super slow, and strangely euphoric, motion. The entire video was shot using an iPhone 6.

Thousands of New Yorkers attended the pajama-themed pummel fest. Newmindspace, the organization behind the event, reported that hundreds of pillows were donated to homeless shelters across the city after the fight.
