Smart Home technology is rapidly developing, with devices like Amazon Echo and Nest showing the potential for a fully-integrated smart home.

However, a poorly-worded Terms of Service agreement for Samsung's new smart TVs gave users concerns that the devices were tracking their every move.

While those concerns were somewhat overblown, they did bring up a question at the center of smart home technology: How much do we really need to worry about these devices when it comes to our privacy?

To answer this question and discuss the best smart home gadgets on the market, the Mashable tech team hosted a MashTalk Hangout on Air on Thursday, Feb. 12. Mashable's tech editor, Pete Pachal, was joined by Senior Tech Analyst Christina Warren, Product Analyst Raymond Wong, Senior Tech Correspondent Samantha Murphy and Chief Correspondent Lance Ulanoff.
