Created in conjunction with the Gregory Brothers (the Auto-tune the News guys), Songify is a super simple way to turn speech into music.

Users simply speak into the app and turn their words into auto-tuned musical bliss. Users can then share those tunes with their friends across social networks.

Since its release last year, Songify for iOs has been downloaded over 9 million times and over 120 million songs have been created.

Special features only available in the Android version include:

The ability to create a ringtone from your song

The ability to share songs directly via SMS or Google+

Android users can download Songify from Google Play [Google Play link] now.

The Smule team is also focused on bringing more of their iOS apps to Android -- and plan to release the addictively awesome Magic Piano for Android in early June.

Songify is one of those apps that is just fun to use and fun to share. We love that Android users will now have the ability to create their own tone-tastic works of spoken-song. What do you think of Smule apps? Let us know in the comments.
