Snap Gets MySpace Profile Previews

Snap, which created the annoying/useful website add-on Snap Shots, a tool that previews websites when you hover over a link, has added two more elements to the service: MySpace profile previews, and RSS previews.

ProfileShot grabs all the important info from a MySpace page and displays it when you hover over a MySpace link: more social networks will be added later. Meanwhile, RSS Shot provides previews of RSS feeds (2 to 4 articles from the feed).

As we mentioned previously, this move to multimedia content makes Snap Shots a lot more useful, and the tool has certainly made an undifferentiated search engine relevant again. It's still not enough to convince us to use it, but some people think the usefulness outweighs the annoyance. Those people are crazy.
