We may still be waiting for a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm -- and, frankly, may be waiting for the rest of time -- but Saturday Night Live has the next best thing: Bern Your Enthusiasm.

The sketch starts off with Larry David, reprising his role as Bernie Sanders, meeting well wishers at a rally. All is going well until a sneezy member of the public basically turns Sanders into Larry David as he refuses to shake the woman's hand after she sneezed into it.

The crowd is quick to turn against him.

Later, on a coffee run, David' Sanders meets another supporter and that exchange goes equally as terrible as the one earlier. The woman gets into a car accident in front of Sanders but instead of giving her aid, he runs away, deterred after she asks him to help her pop her shoulder back in place.

These all end up being huge mistakes, as Sanders comes up short in the results. It turns out only five votes -- like, you know, those from all the people he pissed off -- could have given him the win in Iowa.

Next time, Bern.
