It looks like Snocap, the company tasked with selling music from MySpace's 3 million+ artists, has begun a major rollout. How else would you explain the 2000% growth in links to Snocap from MySpace profiles between the 2nd and 3rd week of February? (Data from Mashable Labs, other company names removed.) Snocap was also mentioned in the most recent MySpace newsletter, and we've been getting a lot of correspondence about the site in the last few days.

As mentioned briefly in the BlastMyMusic post, the "featured artist" from MySpace/Snocap this month is Snoop Dogg, whose Snocap store shows just how viral these widgets will be. Not only is there an RSS feed, but you can grab code from within the widget and put the store on your page.

A few tweaks that would make this extremely viral: one click posting to your MySpace page (should be possible - you guys have a deal with MS already) and an affiliate scheme that pays MySpacers 5% for every track sold through affiliated stores.
