SNOCAP Signs DRM-free Deal With EMI

SNOCAP, the company that allows users to create their own music mini-stores (called MyStores) on their websites, has signed a deal with EMI, which means that fans will now be able to buy DRM-free, high quality MP3s from EMI's catalog directly from the artists' websites and MySpace profiles. MyStore enables users to select the tracks they want to sell, set their price, personalize the GUI, and then place the store to your website or MySpace profile by simply copying & pasting some code.

The actual MP3s, besides being free of DRM infestation, will be encoded at 320 Kbit/s, and will be sold for the price of $1.30 per track.
