Snoopy is finally getting the A-list, Hollywood treatment.
Just in time for The Peanuts Movie, the famous beagle got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The proud pooch's star, number 2,563 on Hollywood Boulevard, is placed right next to his creator, Charles M. Schulz.

Snoopy was happy to accept his star and pay tribute to Schulz star as well at a ceremony held on Nov. 2. Plenty of people came out to take pictures with and congratulate the famous dog.
The Peanuts Movie opens in theaters nationwide on Dec. 23.
