Talk about eating your words.

A jogger in Portland stopped during a nighttime, snowy run to have a brief chat with news station KOIN-6. The jogger, named Chelsea, raved about the beauty and benefits of running in the chilly weather.

Then, like a perfectly-executed-and-planned bit, Chelsea jogs away from the reporter only to slip and fall, straight on her butt (around the 1:30 mark), and limps slowly away.

Chelsea was reportedly not too badly hurt, she even gives the camera a thumbs up after her tumble. She later told Deadspin that she realized the irony of the whole situation.

As the chick in this video, all I can say is that running in powder when there's no one else out at night is a sh**load of fun. But stopping to pose for the local news station in the middle of the icy street hurts like a b***h. Glad it's as funny for everyone else as it was for us.

Oh, karma, you ironic sorcerer, you.
