This woman might be a fan of the "Fight Club". A Chinese lady claims she took revenge on an ex-boyfriend for picking on her weight, by getting liposuction and sending him a bar of soap made from her fat.
The woman, named Xiaoxiao, posted pictures on Weibo of her purportedly before the procedure and after, holding a syringe of fat, and the final shot with the finished bar of soap.
In her note addressed to her ex, Yang Xiaolei, she said she was sending him the bar in time for Chinese New Year in February, one of the biggest Chinese holidays where people get together with their families.
She specifically called out his mother in her note, whom we assume she's had grievances with, and said the bar of soap was for her, and "gross men who only judge people by their looks."
He retaliated with a text message, which she posted in a screenshot that's since been deleted. In the text, he said they were over so she didn't need to pull the stunt, nor shame him publicly on the Internet. He added that it was unnecessary for her to disgust his mother as well.
She responded by saying: "You said I was fat, so I'm sending your family some soap, deal with it!"
It's not clear how much soap Xiaoxiao made, or how much fat was required. In 2013, Miami-based performance artist Orestes de la Paz made 20 bars of soap from about three litres of his liposuctioned blubber, although about 75% of the soap was bulked up with other oils and ingredients.
Xiaoxiao's bold move might have been inspired by the book "Fight Club", where its protagonist Tyler Durden makes soap from human fat obtained from liposuction clinics.
