Friday at the Winter Olympics saw a Swiss underdog win gold in the men's super combined skiing competition. It also brought us the always-flamboyant men's figure skating free skate and much, much more.

Skeleton, cross-country skiing and freestyle skiing all had medal action as well. Read on for a full recap of Friday's medal winners, plus a gallery of some of its best photo moments.
