Our 21st century Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is stuffed full of commercialism, but at least the floats are cute and they transport us all back to a simpler time when turkeys wore top hats and clowns were considered cute. It's only a matter of time, though, before our current digital obsessions overwhelm even this cherished holiday tradition.
