20 TV Shows With the Most Social Buzz This Week

Turkey Day television viewers treated themselves to floats and football and went online to talk about it, according to this week's Trendrr chart.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade scored sixth on this week's social broadcast TV standings, drawing more than half a million mentions in the social sphere. As the playoffs approach, NFL football dominates a sizable chunk of the charts, including the top spot on cable.

Unsurprisingly, The X Factor on FOX kept its place as the reigning social TV champion of broadcast TV, raking in a solid score of 4.5 million mentions. Television's other big singing competition, The Voice, crept up the charts this week but is still a distant third, with fewer than one million mentions.

The data is courtesy of Trendrr, which measures social media activity related to specific television shows (e.g. mentions, likes, check-ins) across Twitter, Facebook, GetGlue and Viggle. To see daily rankings, check out Trendrr.TV.
