From hashtag activism to digital education, technology and new media are interacting like never before as catalysts for social good.

This intersection of media and digital is what inspired the creation of +SocialGood, which was developed to build global communities around social good, as well as connect those communities with the resources needed to generate change.

That's why, at the first-ever +SocialGood UK conference on March 27, we're happy to bring together speakers from a wide range of fields and industries -- not only to foster conversation, but also discuss real solutions to some of the most pressing issues of our time.

Speakers currently include:

Robyn Scott, Social Entrepreneur and Founder of Brothers for All

Belinda Parmer, Founder of Little Miss Geek and Lady Geek

Rodney Schwartz, CEO of ClearlySo

Eliot Higgins, open source investigator and founder of Brown Moses and Bellingcat

Stacy Martinet, Chief Marketing Officer at Mashable

Blathnaid Healy, UK Editor at Mashable

Matt Petronzio, Assistant Features Editor and Social Good writer at Mashable

Registration is open now. Please join us at the BT Centre in London as we explore how technology will effect social change in the UK and abroad.

+SocialGood UK will focus on how technology and digital media are driving social change both within Great Britain and around the world, bringing together elected officials, activists, leaders and influencers to discuss the important issues that are being highlighted in this year’s UK general election.
