Socializr Gets $1 Million for Mysterious Friendster Followup

Socializr, the stealthy social startup from Friendster founder Jonathan Abrams, has taken $1 million in second round funding - that's on top of the $0.5 million raised in its first round. However, there are virtually no details on what the company plans to do.

What we do know is that they've got an office on 4th Street in San Francisco, around six or seven people on the team and that the original angel investors included Michael Tanne, founder and CEO of Wink. But apart from the quirky cartoon on the site's homepage, that's all we've got to go on.
