SocialPoster is a pretty handy bookmarking aid that takes away most of the legwork necessary for saving items to your favorite social bookmarking sites.
SocialPoster is a Firefox toolbar add-on and it enables you to select text from any website in the same manner as Clipmarks, click your SocialPoster button, and the necessary information is automatically populated for just about any social bookmarking service out there. SocialPoster captures the URL, title, text and tags, which can be modified at your discretion, and will produce a link for adding this captured information to your social bookmarking site. From del.icio.us to furl, just about every social bookmarking site is listed for you to choose from. There are also links for registration and logging in to the different sites.
Better yet, the site-specific information required for final submission is auto-populates as well, so there won't be too many steps left once you've picked the social bookmarking site to which you'd like to add your items. SocialPoster also has a variety of buttons you could place on your blog, encouraging others to bookmark your posts on a number of bookmarking sites. SocialPoster lists bookmarking sites by way of popularity, but it would be nice to have the option to list these in alphabetical order too. There is also the issue of some abusing the ease with which you can bookmark items, but most bookmarking services have their own measure to prevent abuse.
