SocialVibe presents itself as an alternative to display ads, which the company deems disruptive. SocialVibe delivers what it calls “engagement advertising” to consumers while they’re playing a social game, getting virtual currency, donating to charity or accessing premium content. Such ad units are also integrated into Pandora, Causes and The Huffington Post. Advertisers on SocialVibe’s platform include GE, Best Buy, Disney, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola, among others.
