You might think that co-ed beer-league softball is not something to be taken too seriously.

In that case of a squad called The Stinkmitts at least, you'd think wrong. Very wrong.

The Stinkmitts are a team from Toronto, according to Deadspin, which brought their excellence to our attention. They play in something called the XSFL, which appears to stand for Xtremely Friendly Softball League.

The Stinkmitts claim to be defending XSFL champs, but it's their Instagram account that really shines and brings the comedy heat.

There are posts like this one, modeled after the very self-serious game quotes and recaps that litter the sports Internet.

Here are a couple more examples.

The team even promotes its games with fancy-looking poster thingies.

The star of the show, however, is player-coach Andrew Wyatt, whose post-game "interviews" hit all the coach-speak cliches.

But our favorite post of all has to be this one, which really helps put sports in perspective.

Good luck defending your crown, Stinkmitts! You've definitely become our favorite Xtremely Friendly Softball League team by far.
