Our fully-uniformed hero's dunk came during a break in an exhibition game where more than 20 pros hoping to make the 2016 Olympic squad showed their stuff for USA Basketball coaches and staff.

The throw-down immediately caused a stir on basketball Twitter and sports blogs on Thursday night. This Instagram video, meanwhile, shows the crowd and New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony going wild after the dunk:
So maybe instead of waging wars, we should just settle international conflicts by challenging other countries to military-only dunk contests. And maybe more NBA players should ditch their Nikes for a pair of combat boots.
