Somewhere Out There, Local News Is Embarrassing Itself

Some of the greatest moments in local news history involve nothing to do with the actual news. It used to be impossible to see how local stations in other states were making viewers face palm. Luckily, we've been graced with the presence of YouTube.

Traffic reporter Bob Herzog, of WKRC-TV's Good Morning Cincinnati, is the king of local news sketch comedy. Herzog hosts "Dance Party Friday" each week, making reports of gridlock and delays to Ohioans' morning commute either more bearable or worse -- depending on your current amount of coffee intake.

Herzog has moved from traffic to evening news. So, to initiate reporter Jen Dalton, the two performed a duet of "Somewhere Out There," from the animated classic, An American Tail.
