Son's Thoughtful NFL Gift Brings Dad to Tears

Sports can bring out the worst in people. This much we know. But then there are the moments like this one that show why we love sports for so much beyond scores and stats.

Our protagonist here is a YouTuber named Brian Kinney, who runs a web-design company called Revolution Development. His dad is a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan who's never been to one of his favorite team's home games. The family lives in Connecticut, so making it to the Bengals' Paul Brown Stadium isn't easy for dad. Until Brian stepped in, that is, and his dad's reaction is a veritable feel factory.

Brian builds the tension expertly by first giving his dad a hat and then a signed jersey, before laying down the ultimate gift: travel accommodations to Cincinnati and Bengals tickets for two.

He posted the heart-warming video to r/bengals and gives other Bengal-fan Redditors a special shout-out. Watch the clip for yourself if you need something to brighten your day, then let us know what you think in the comments.
