Mozilla's open source media player Songbird has just released an updated version of its software, which comes complete with MTP device support for Windows users, an improved filter picker for easier navigating of your music playlists, and other user interface tweaks for an overall better user experience.
Most notable of Songbird's included updates in this recently released version is Media Views, which is targeted at the developer community. Media Views actually allows for highly customized options for displaying, manipulating and exploring your own media library. What's more, you can now create your own media view and make them available to the larger community by adding them to the Add-ons site.
