Sony Xperia Z1S

Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Sony announced the launch of the Xperia Z1S in the United States. The phone is even more water-resistant than its predecessor, Sony Xperia Z, and it has a better camera, too: 20 MP, a step up from 13 MP in the Xperia Z. Samsung revealed a new line of curved televisions, including an insanely large 105-inch 4K TV. On the smaller side of things, Intel launched a miniature PC running Linux called Edison, which has a dual-core Intel Quark processor, integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
