Soundgarden Tickets Up for Grabs Early for Twitter Users

Twitter users who own American Express cards can get their hands on concert tickets for rock band Soundgarden by syncing their cards and tweeting "#AmexSoundgardenTix."

American Express's Twitter handle, @AmexSync, will respond to each tweet with an access code to purchase two pre-sale tickets for the Jan. 16 concert at Terminal 5 in New York City.

"Soundgarden is a digitally savvy group with a large social following, so we were excited to partner with them for this experience," Brad Minor, vice president of digital communications strategy at American Express, tells Mashable.

The Soundgarden deal is part of American Express's Twitter-based discounts program, which since March has allowed AmEx members to sync their cards to their Twitter account for hashtag-related savings.

The promotion starts Monday and ends Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. EST.
