Traveling to Mars may not seem glamorous, but these new retro posters from SpaceX will make the journey seems like a travel destination on par with early Disney World.
Elon Musk's rocket and spacecraft company SpaceX was created in 2002 to design and create advanced rockets and spacecraft, but its ultimate goal is to "enable people to live on other planets," according to the Space X website.

While that lofty goal may be decades away, the company wants you to at least think about taking a trip to another planet, specifically Mars.
The company released three retro travel posters on its Flickr page last Friday, depicting a Jetsons-like view of the martian countryside, commissioned by the Mars Colonization and Tourism Association, of course.
The posters include a dwelling that looks a lot like an Airstream trailer, jet packs, a romantic scene on Mars' moons and a spherical gondola lift that will bring you to the summit of Olympus Mons, the largest volcano in the solar system.
Although the posters look straight out of the 1950s, they may have been inspired by a series of travel photos released by NASA in January, which depict destinations such as Kepler-186f, "the first Earth-size planet discovered in the potentially 'habitable zone' around another star."
