If we can't transport ourselves back to 1997 and sing into the mirror with our best friends while decked out in the finest butterfly clips the local mall offers, this is the next best thing. Sporty Spice brought back the Spice Girls' single "Too Much" on BBC Radio with a folky twist.

Mel C was always the best vocalist in the band, and her not-really-a-cover proves how timeless the song really is. Lyrics like "I want a man not a boy who thinks he can" hold up, especially with her passionate delivery.

Mel has stayed tight with her old bandmates, because friendship never ends.

Always strange seeing someone up on stage you are used to being on stage with and realising they're even more amazing than you thought they were! #proud #yeahshesmymate ☺️ @emmaleebunton @rockyhorroruk #amnestyinternational A photo posted by Melanie C (@melaniecmusic) on Sep 18, 2015 at 1:07am PDT
