You all like R. Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)" way, way too much.
On Thursday, Spotify revealed a hundred of the world’s most popular throwback Thursday songs of all time, as played on its music streaming platform.
Culled from more than 80,000 playlists that included #TBT or "throwback Thursday" in the title, the results skew heavily towards the R&B and pop anthems we loved right around the time everyone was wearing Von Dutch trucker hats and studded belts.
If nothing else, this list clearly indicates a key Spotify demographic: 20 and 30-somethings who definitely listened to all these songs at awkward high school parties.
Along with OutKast, 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake, who all make repeat appearances on the list, is it sad Usher is now considered retro?
