Music platform Spotify has announced the top songs played at weddings in Australia -- and it is made up of global hits, with only a small local influence.

After analysing 400,000 playlists globally, Spotify revealed crooner John Legend's "All of Me" is the number one song couples choose for their wedding playlist, both in Australia and around the world. Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran, with their smooth lyrics, all appear on Australia's list and the global breakdown.

In sad news for local music, only one Australian act scored a coveted spot on the list. Thank you for the love, Vance Joy.

Here are the most popular wedding songs in Australia at the moment:

1. "All of Me" - John Legend

2. "Ho Hey" – The Lumineers

3. "Thinking Out Loud" – Ed Sheeran

4. "A Thousand Years" – Christina Perri

5. "Marry You" – Bruno Mars

6. "Riptide" – Vance Joy

7. "Lucky" – Jason Mraz, Colbie Calliat

8. "First Day Of My Life" – Bright Eyes

9. "I’m Yours" – Jason Mraz

10. "You Are The Best Thing" – Ray LaMontagne
