Spreadshirt, the site that makes it easy to design and sell your own t-shirts, will launch a major overhaul of the service on Wednesday, which includes a redesign of the site, as well as several new features. In fact, the founders tell us that the entire site has been re-developed from scratch. A beta of the new site will be available tomorrow at beta.spreadshirt.net.

The redesign, like all redesigns, should make the site more pleasing to the eye and more intuitive to use - it does all those things. The admin interface has been significantly improved, too, and just one account is now needed to access every feature of the site. Several new community features have also been introduced: you can now vote on individual items on the site, and save the designs you like the most to your own favorites.

The biggest new feature is, however, Spreadshirt Marketplace. The Marketplace caters to the needs of buyers, designers, webmasters and shop partners alike, in the sense that one can benefit from the other. For example, if your design skills suck, but you'd like to be a shop-partner, you can use a design from a talented designer and share the sales revenue with him. Buyers, on the other hand, can combine the designs they like to create a unique final product.

Other companies in this space are Cafepress, Qoop, Zazzle, and InnerTee. Spreadshirt is a worthy adversary.
