Turns out that squirrels are nuts over music.

When Swedish photographer Geert Weggen realized multiple squirrels liked to chill outside his kitchen window, he decided to start taking photos of them.

Tiring of what became his typical squirrel photographs, Weggen decided to spice things up by creating tiny instruments for the critters to play with. He then captured images of the whimsical scenes.

"It took months to get some music instruments with the right size," he explained to Bored Panda. "I try to bring some magic, wonder and happiness with my work, these are real photos. Sometimes I take away a wire or some food, and sometimes I stack two photos from the same scene."

Turns out few things are as cute as tiny animals playing tiny instruments with their tiny hands.
