Jedi Oven Tricks Not Required to Make This Star Wars Cake [VIDEO]

There is nothing scarier than the Great Pit of Carkoon and its terrifying inhabitant, the Sarlacc, from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

At least not to Jennifer Landa, a contributor to the Official Star Wars Blog. So, of course that's what she used as an inspiration for her Halloween cake.

"Being digested over the course of a thousand years is what nightmares are made of," she explains in her blog. How horrifyingly true.

The cake itself is simple -- store bought cake mix and frosting -- though we're sure the industrious baker could concoct their own. The true magic is in the decorations, which include almond sliver teeth, crushed cookie sand, and gummy worms for tentacles.

"Thankfully, we don’t have to be eaten by that creature in the desert," Landa exclaims. "Instead, we can eat the creature in a dessert!"

You're welcome, dessert-loving Star Wars fans.
