In 2014, YouTube user Tom BetGeorge programmed 100,000 Christmas lights to the music of Star Wars. This year -- with Star Wars back at peak relevance -- he created a new light show set to themes from the franchise.

This year's show features about 200,000 channels powering 70,000 lights, and over the course of one month, it costs him about $80 to run the show for a few hours each night.

And though flashing lights could be considered a nightmare for nearby neighbors, BetGeorge is thankful to have the support of the community.
