Long ago, in an Internet era far, far away, files were saved and shared with an archaic piece of technology called "floppy disks."

The plastic squares held about 1 to 2MB of data -- hardly enough to share an entire Facebook album's worth of family holiday photos.

Looking to impress your favorite techie nerd over the holidays? Those are not the disks you're looking for. However, the Star Wars-themed flash drives by Mimoco are a perfect gift.

Each of the designer USB flash drives are disguised as a Star Wars character. Mimoco offers a variety of them, including include Darth Vader, Yoda, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt, among others. (In case you were wondering, there's no Jar Jar Binks.)

There's also a few limited-edition characters, like Biker Scout, hooded Darth Maul and Lobot.

The flash drives are offered in capacities from 8 to 64GB, depending on your preference. Mimoco also makes a series of Mimomicro card readers that would make a perfect giftset.

Sure, a Jedi could use the force to store files on his computer. But this would make a great gift for any fan, young or old, who prefers to USB the force.
