The #ForceFriday celebration of Star Wars-fueled mass consumerism might be over, but that hasn't stopped new opportunities to throw money at The Force Awakens from popping up every day. The latest? Royal Mail stamps.

The U.K. postal service has a large collection of Star Wars-branded collectible stamps that are set to arrive on Oct. 20. The Force Awakens characters are definitely in there, but so are Yoda, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Boba Fett and others from earlier points in the series.

The stamps, which are open for pre-orders now, come in a wide variety of arrangements, from individual character sets to themed packs that cover different swaths of the fictional sci-fi universe. The highlight for most will be the Star Wars Presentation Pack, a two-piece set that includes 12 character stamps -- including Episode VII newcomers Finn, Rey and Kylo Ren -- and a page of vehicle stamps, featuring the upcoming film's new X-Wing Fighter and T.I.E. Fighter.

Customers in the United States won't be affixing these stamps to any local letters, but there's nothing to stop you from creating an account on Royal Mail's website and putting in a pre-order. We didn't push the order through, but the site doesn't have any location restrictions on created accounts. These are collectibles, after all.

There's no U.S. equivalent for these Star Wars stamps yet, but that may well change in the months leading to The Force Awakens' release. The United States Postal Service offered a run of collectible Star Wars stamps back in 2007. Those stamps haven't appreciated much in value, but few consumers can resist the lure of the Dark Side when it comes to Star Wars branding.
