ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Here it is: The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer fans have been waiting for ever since the teaser trailer dropped back in November.

Those 88 seconds -- which contained a new cross-shaped lightsaber, new Stormtroopers and a swooping Millennium Falcon -- became perhaps the most overanalyzed and easily the most re-watched trailer in history, attracting more than 60 million views in a week.

If that reaction is any guide, the Star Wars fan in your life is about to explode.

The new trailer dropped during a highly anticipated panel at Star Wars Celebration, a fan convention run by Disney's latest subsidiary Lucasfilm, which was held this year for the first time in Anaheim, steps from Disneyland.

The panel featured Star Wars director J.J. Abrams, producer and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and a whole host of actors from the movie.

Fans started camping out for the panel around 6 p.m., local time, the previous evening, bunking down in the Anaheim Convention Center overnight. Ever solicitous to their fan base, Abrams and Kennedy sent the line pizza.
