This photo series for The Ottawa Humane Society pairs adoptable pets with their local 501st legion, a volunteer group that makes appearances as villainous Imperial Star Wars characters.

Rohit Saxena, a photographer who has been volunteering as the shelter for five years, told Mashable that the nonprofit started doing themed photoshoots -- like Game of Thrones -- a couple months ago, in order to help animals find homes.
Cats, dogs, bunnies and guinea pigs are all represented. Unfortunately, you still can't seem to adopt an Ewok of your very own in Canada. You still need to travel to a galaxy far, far away for that.
