LONDON -- After one year, 180 sculptors, and £2.5 million ($3.8 million), the Madame Tussauds Star Wars exhibition is finally about to open in London.

A few lucky fans were invited in to come face-to-face with Darth Vader, Chewbacca and 14 other recreations from all six movies ahead of the official opening on Saturday. (One guy even proposed to a waxen Princess Leia.)

The unadulterated joy you'll feel at seeing your favorite characters stand before you doesn't come for free, though; tickets start at £22 ($35). Here's a look inside the highly anticipated exhibition.
