You don't need an X-wing to explore a galaxy far, far away -- just a computer.

Artist and graphic designer Orlando Arocena is a talented illustrator, as well as a Star Wars super fan since childhood.

"I've been a long time fan since 1977, and everything about Star Wars -- the designs, the characters and especially the philosophy of 'the Force' -- is what I find intriguing and motivational," he said.

The high-tech (at least for the 1970s) special effects weren't lost on Arocena, who uses vector style art in Adobe Illustrator to pay tribute to his favorite science fiction characters.

Vectors, or geometrical points, lines, curves, shapes and polygons, are used to create images on an artwork -- or in Arocena's case, beautifully geometric, stylized illustrations of Luke, Leia, Han and even some of the new characters from The Force Awakens.

Arocena's work has been shown not only online, but also at exhibitions such as the upcoming Star Wars: An Art Odyssey at L’ Espace Villeneue-Bargemon in Marseille, France.

Arocena licensed three print works, above, especially for the exhibit.

In addition, he often does variations on his Star Wars artwork, including a hip hop inspired and Dia de los Muertos inspired series that was commissioned by Fandango.

Fans of Arocena's work can find more impressive vector illustrations on Behance, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
