Step aside, pumpkin spice latte. Your cooler, older brother is here to steal your autumnal spotlight.

Starbucks is experimenting with a beer-flavored coffee called a dark barrel latte in a "handful" of stores in Ohio and Florida, a Starbucks representative confirms to Mashable. The coffee tastes like a dark, stout beer -- think Guinness -- and has no alcohol content.

"We regularly test new beverages, and testing is an essential part of bringing the Starbucks Experience to our customers," the rep says. "We’re looking forward to learning more from the test, but do not have additional information to share on future availability of this product in our stores."

Reddit user so_oakland posted an image last month of the product's ingredients.

The image only recently surfaced, however, most likely after customers on Twitter began mentioning trying the drink.

Please @Starbucks carry the dark barrel latte everywhere! Just had one in Columbus. Not usually a fan of sweet flavored bev but loved this!

The dark barrel latte at Starbucks literally tastes like drinking a Guinness in the early morning... So yuck

In the image, the drink is described as "a blend of espresso, dark carmel and chocolaty stout flavored sauce, and freshly steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and dark caramel drizzle." It also specifies that the stout flavor has a "roasted malt" taste.

Drinking beer for breakfast? All your dreams are coming true.
