The backlash to Starbucks' minimalistic new red cup design was swift and angry; many saw it as an attack on Christmas (and that made other people more angry). Even Donald Trump got involved, suggesting people should boycott the coffee chain.
Regardless of what side you fall in the War on Red Cups, one thing is clear: Starbucks cups needed a redesign. Our proposals, which will hopefully inspire less (or more?) rage, below.
