Our fears that Star Wars would go on without Harrison Ford fortunately didn't come to pass. And now, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has the backstory of how Ford came back and made Chewy's dreams come true.

Colbert, rocking seventies sideburns, shows up to a meeting between J.J. Abrams and Harrison Ford and auditions for the role.
