With great power comes great responsibility, and Stephen Colbert is using his platform to benefit mankind.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert doesn't premiere until September 8. So instead of wasting the Ed Sullivan Theater's marquee, now that all traces of David Letterman have been carted off in trucks, Colbert is providing a public service: He's letting New Yorkers and tourists alike know where they can grab a slice of pizza on Broadway. Because finding a slice of pizza in New York City is a herculean task.

While Angelo's Pizza's welcoming neon sign is hidden from hungry eyes behind scaffolding and construction vehicles, Colbert's likeness is inviting passersby to take his lead and enjoy a hot slice of pizza.

The Colbert Report is dead, but its host's activist bent is alive and well.
