Stephen Colbert is one talented dude, but gotta say, theme song writing may not be his forte.
In a just-posted video, the new host of The Late Show tries his hand at penning a jingle for his show, premiering Sept. 8, but the results are less than impressive.
A sample lyrics: "My name's Stephen Colbert, From my head down to my feet ... where I keep my toe!"
Questionable as the song's quality may be, Colbert seems pleased with it and crosses "theme song" off his lengthy to-do list.
Now, does anyone have a sandwich and a bolo tie?
