Get ready -- the Steve Harvey memes are coming, and the onslaught is ruthless.

On Sunday night, the American TV host made one of the biggest flubs in Miss Universe history while he was hosting the pageant. In the final segment of the show, he mistakenly announced Miss Colombia as the winner, when it was supposed to be Miss Philippines.

He came back moments later to rectify the mistake, which then led to a very cringeworthy decrowning ceremony where Miss Colombia had to smile through giving up the crown she thought she won.

Naturally, the Internet has responded with lightning speed.

Several brands got in on the meme quickly too:

Making matters worse, Harvey posted an apology tweet later, but directed it at "Miss Philippians" and "Miss Columbia". He deleted the tweet and posted several with the correct spelling, but it had already dumped a ton of fuel on the fire:

Comment from discussion Did anyone just see Steve Harvey announce the wrong Miss Universe? Easily the most cringe worthy thing I've ever seen on TV..

But it seems not everyone is blaming Harvey. Some users, fed up with the roasting, are coming out in support of him.
