Pro Golfer Decorates Bag with Motivational Tweets for British Open [PIC]

Defending British Open champion Stewart Cink also happens to be one of golf’s most engaging personalities on Twitter, where he has more than 1.2 million followers.

With that in mind, Nike Golf came up with a clever idea: decorate Cink’s golf bag with tweets from fans for this year's tournament at St. Andrews, which started on Thursday.

The company asked users to submit their motivational messages on Twitter, asking Cink to select his favorite (the winning tweet gets a bunch of free Nike schwag). He ultimately chose this one:

The bag though, as you can see in the photo gallery on Facebook, features dozens of messages from fans, creating a unique fashion accessory rivaled only perhaps by John Daly’s pants. Kudos to Cink for being such a personable guy, and to Nike for executing a fun social media marketing campaign.
