Stop Tweeting and Call an Ambulance

Admit it -- you have probably spent too much time staring at your smartphone. Whether it's Facebook or Snapchat, a text or a tweet, many of us constantly have our faces down towards a screen. There's even a medical term to describe it.

Comedy sketch group Good Cop Great Cop came up with the idea for their new video after witnessing the effects of smartphone distraction firsthand.

"We were always fascinated with that moment when someone looks at their phone mid-sentence and it sucks their soul out of them," the team told Mashable. "They go dead behind the eyes, and it brings everything in their brain to a halt. We wanted to take that phenomenon and put it in a situation where it could do the most damage."

What's the worst consequence of technology distraction you've seen? Tell us in the comments.
