While Storm Desmond may be wreaking havoc on parts of the UK and Ireland, the massive waves have attracted one thrill-seeking surfer.
Alastair Mennie took to the chaotic seas in Portrush, Northern Ireland, yesterday. Storm Desmond brought waves that were more 20 feet tall to the Antrim coast.
Mennie is no stranger to big waves: he grew up surfing on the Northern Ireland shores in the winters and surfs big waves in international competitions, as well as on "Man vs Wave."
